While you're trembling, you'll be helping a good cause. In 2018, the Park donated more than $132,000.00 to local charities! The Niles Scream Park is a non-profit community project that uses approximately 150 to 200 volunteers per night to staff its various attractions. These volunteers represent over 65 Michiana area community and school organizations such as Boy Scout groups, church youth groups and booster groups for colleges and high schools. Since 1996, more than $1,900,000.00 have been donated to local and national non-profit organizations, as well as the Niles Scream Park funded college scholarships for students at Niles, Cassopolis, Brandywine, Dowagiac and Edwardsburg High Schools!! What a tribute to our volunteers!

NILES SCREAM PARK RAISES MORE THAN $116,000 FOR LOCAL GROUPS

NILES, Mich. (December 3, 2019) – The Niles Scream Park, one of Michiana’s most popular autumn attractions, recently completed another successful season at its always changing 44 acre site on Mayflower Road between Niles and Buchanan.

This year, the 46th consecutive year for running the project, the Scream Park raised over $116,000 for more than 70 area children’s organizations, civic groups and other charities. Proceeds benefitted local school and service organizations including groups such as the Boy Scouts, the Make a Wish Foundation, Pets Connect, Niles High School Band Boosters and the Relay For Life (American Cancer Society). The funds raised also will be used for four college scholarships for local high school seniors. Since 1996, the Scream Park has donated over $2,000,000!!

In addition to the cash donations, the Niles Scream Park supported many local causes, auctions and benefits with ticket donations totaling more than $2,900.

The project included six haunted attractions and provided volunteer opportunities both in construction and operation of the Scream Park. Plans are underway for even more frightening additions in the coming year. Over 20,000 hours were volunteered by over 535 different people before and during its 22 nights of operation to prepare and operate the seasonal attraction.

The year also marked a visit from interior visitor number 2,100,000. Megan Darr of Granger, Indiana, was the special milestone visitor. She received a gift pack when she visited the Scream Park on Sunday, October 6, 2019 with her friend Jared Hancock of Mishawaka, Indiana.

The Scream Park broke an all-time attendance record this year for a Friday night on Friday, October 18, 2019, welcoming 8,942 interior attraction visitors. The Scream Park concluded the season with the 3rd best season on record, welcoming 108,535 interior attraction visitors to the Park!!

The Scream Park is recognized nationally in the haunted attraction industry. It was voted #4 Haunted Attraction in the nation by voters on the Coaster Nation annual Halloween poll.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Haunted House Indy review team named the attraction a “Must See Haunt in 2019”. The Park also was chosen as #1 Best Seasonal Attraction & #1 Halloween Activity in the South Bend Tribune’s Readers Choice Awards for the sixth consecutive year and named the Best of the Best by Leader Publications.

NILES SCREAM PARK GREETS 2,100,000th INTERIOR VISITOR

Niles, Michigan (October 7, 2019) – The Board of Directors for the Niles Scream Park is pleased to announce that they welcomed interior visitor number 2,100,000 on Sunday, October 6, 2019. The lucky individual is Megan Darr of Granger, Indiana. As a result of her good fortune, she received a special “ghost pack” of goodies from the Niles Scream Park.

Megan was accompanied by her friend Jared Hancock of Mishawaka, Indiana. Darr is a junior at Purdue University, but that didn’t stop her from making this her fourth visit to the Niles Scream Park. She comes year after year because she loves Halloween and getting scared. This year she had to drag her friend Jared, a Clay Fire Fighter recruit, with her although he is the one that suggested coming to the Scream Park.

Providing chilling entertainment for the last 46 years, the Niles Scream Park is pleased to celebrate interior visitor number 2,100,000.

Open weekends through October plus Thursday, October 31st and Friday and Saturday, November1st and 2nd, the Scream Park is located on Mayflower Road in Niles, Michigan. The Park easily is accessed by taking Exit 5 (Niles-Buchanan Road) from the US 31 Expressway.
